Day 01 – Arrival in Colombo

• Arrive at Colombo International Airport and meet our representative at the arrival lounge.

• Transfer to Colombo, the capital city – approximately 1-hour drive.

• Overnight stay at Lake Colombo.

Day 02 – Colombo → Wilpattu

• Breakfast at the hotel.

• Transfer to Wilpattu National Park – approximately 5-hour drive.

• Meet our crew at the Wilpattu Park Entrance at 12 noon and transfer to the campsite inside the park.

• Lunch at the camp.

• Evening Game Drive in search of wildlife.

• BBQ Dinner and overnight stay at the Camp.

Day 03 – Wilpattu → Anuradhapura

• Breakfast at the campsite.

• Morning Game Drive.

• Return to the park gate for check-out.

• Transfer to Anuradhapura – approximately 2-hour drive.

• Overnight stay at Ulagalla Resort in Anuradhapura.

Day 04 – Explore Anuradhapura

• Breakfast at the hotel.

• Explore Anuradhapura, the most important ancient capital of Sri Lanka and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

• Discover the sacred Bodhi Tree, stupas, and ancient ruins that showcase Sri Lanka’s glorious civilization.

• Overnight stay at Ulagalla Resort in Anuradhapura.

Day 05 – Anuradhapura → Sigiriya → Kandy

• Breakfast at the hotel.

• Transfer to Kandy – approximately 4-hour drive (non-stop).

• En route, climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and royal citadel of King Kassapa.

• Visit Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO site dating back to the 3rd and 2nd centuries BC, famous for its ancient murals and Buddha statues.

• Overnight stay at Ellerton in Kandy.

Day 06 – Kandy City & Botanical Gardens

• Breakfast at the hotel.

• Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, where Lord Buddha’s Tooth Relic is housed – Sri Lanka’s most venerated shrine.

• Explore the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden, renowned for its orchid collection and tropical flora.

Day 07 – Scenic Train Ride to Nuwara Eliya

• Board the scenic train from Kandy to Nanu Oya at 8:55 AM – a journey through misty mountains and lush tea plantations.

• Upon arrival at Nanu Oya, meet your driver and transfer to Nuwara Eliya.

• Overnight stay at Heritance Tea Factory in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 08 – Horton Plains National Park

• Breakfast at the hotel.

• Visit Horton Plains National Park for a 4-hour nature trail featuring Baker’s Waterfall and the breathtaking World’s End viewpoint.

Day 09 – Nuwara Eliya → Negombo
