This 11-night tour is the most comprehensive photography journey in Sri Lanka, covering wildlife, cultural heritage, landscapes, traditional villages, monuments, and marine life. Capture everything from elephants and leopards to stilt fishermen and colonial architecture, with expert guidance and carefully selected locations.

Day 01 – Arrival in Colombo & City Jeep Tour

• Arrival at Colombo International Airport; meet with our representative.

• Colombo city tour by vintage open-top jeep (3 PM) covering colonial-era buildings, a Buddhist temple, and Pettah market.

• Welcome dinner at Galle Face Hotel.

• Overnight: Galle Face Hotel, Colombo.

Day 02 – Transfer to Habarana & Minneriya Safari

• Breakfast at the hotel.

• Transfer to Habarana (5 hours).

• Afternoon safari in Minneriya National Park (3 PM – 6 PM) to photograph elephants at waterholes.

• Dinner and overnight: Cinnamon Lodge, Habarana.

Day 03 – Village Walk & Nature Trail

• Breakfast at the hotel.

• Morning walk in a traditional village near Sigiriya to photograph daily life, paddy fields, lakes, and local vendors. Visit Pidurangala Rock Monastery.

• Afternoon nature trail / jungle walk in Habarana; possible encounters with elephants, birds, crocodiles, and lizards.

• Evening sun-downer on a rock cliff with local arrack cocktails.

• Dinner and overnight: Cinnamon Lodge, Habarana.

Day 04 – Dambulla & Transfer to Kandy

• Breakfast at the hotel.

• Visit Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with ancient Buddha paintings.

• Transfer to Kandy (2 hours) with a stop at Muthu Mariamman Hindu Temple in Matale.

• Evening visit to Temple of the Tooth Relic during sermon.

• Dinner and overnight: Cinnamon Citadel, Kandy.

Day 05 – Scenic Train to Ella & Transfer to Nuwara Eliya

• Breakfast at the hotel.

• Scenic train journey from Kandy to Ella (departing 8:30 AM) through tea plantations, villages, and forests.

• Transfer to Nuwara Eliya (1.5 hours).

• Dinner and overnight: The Grand Hotel, Nuwara Eliya.

Day 06 – Horton Plains & Nuwara Eliya Town

• Early morning visit to Horton Plains National Park (5 AM) with picnic breakfast. Capture Samber deer, Baker’s Falls, and cloud forests.

• Afternoon walk in Nuwara Eliya town to photograph colonial architecture, tea estates, and local markets. Visit a tea factory and estate to document tea production.

• Dinner and overnight: The Grand Hotel, Nuwara Eliya.

Day 07 – Transfer to Yala via Kataragama

• Breakfast at the hotel.

• Transfer to Yala (4 hours), stopping at Kataragama religious site to photograph temples and rituals.

• Sun-downer with cocktails at Yala Safari Camp.

• Dinner and overnight: Yala Safari Camp.

Day 08 – Full-Day Safari | Yala National Park

• Full-day safari (6 AM – 6 PM) at Yala to photograph leopards, elephants, bears, deer, crocodiles, and birds.

• Picnic breakfast and lunch provided.

• BBQ dinner and overnight: Yala Safari Camp.

Day 09 – Weligama & Stilt Fishermen Photography

• Breakfast at the camp.

• Transfer to Weligama (3 hours).

• Photograph the famous stilt fishermen at sunset.

• Dinner and overnight: Weligama Bay Resort.

Day 10 – Blue Whale Safari & Galle Fort

• Early morning whale watching boat trip (6:30 AM – 12 PM) with picnic breakfast.

• Afternoon visit to Galle Fort, photographing colonial architecture, street life, cafes, and markets.

• Transfer to Negombo (2 hours).

• Dinner and overnight: Jetwing Blue, Negombo.

Day 11 – Negombo Lagoon & Farewell Gala Dinner

• Breakfast at the hotel.

• Morning boat trip on Hamilton Canal, Lagoon, and fish market for photography.

• Leisure in the afternoon.

• Gala dinner with live music.

• Overnight: Jetwing Blue, Negombo.

Day 12 – Departure

• Breakfast at the hotel.

• Transfer to Colombo International Airport (20 minutes).
