This 8-night tour is designed for wildlife and marine photographers to capture Sri Lanka’s “Big 4”—elephants, leopards, birds, and whales—in their natural habitats. Explore Udawalawe, Yala, Bundala National Parks, and the Indian Ocean, experiencing safaris, boat trips, and exclusive photography opportunities.

Day 01 – Arrival in Colombo & Transfer to Negombo

• Arrival at Colombo International Airport; meet with our representative.

• Transfer to Negombo (20 minutes).

• Dinner and overnight: Jetwing Blue Hotel, Negombo.

Day 02 – Udawalawe National Park

• Breakfast at the hotel.

• Transfer to Udawalawe National Park (4 hours).

• Afternoon safari (3 PM – 6 PM) to photograph Asian elephants.

• Overnight: Kalu’s Hideaway Resort, Udawalawe.

Day 03 – Udawalawe & Transfer to Yala

• Morning safari (6 AM – 10 AM) in Udawalawe for elephants.

• Breakfast at the hotel.

• Transfer to Yala (3 hours).

• Sun-downer at Yala Camp with gin, tonic, or local arrack cocktail topped with ginger beer.

• Dinner and overnight: Yala Safari Camp.

Day 04 – Full-Day Safari | Yala National Park

• 6 AM – 6 PM: Full-day safari in Yala to photograph leopards, elephants, bears, spotted deer, crocodiles, and birds.

• Picnic breakfast and lunch included.

• Dinner and overnight at Yala Safari Camp.

Day 05 – Second Full-Day Safari | Yala National Park

• Repeat full-day safari (6 AM – 6 PM) with photography focus on wildlife.

• Picnic meals included.

• Dinner and overnight at Yala Safari Camp.

Day 06 – Bundala National Park & Transfer to Weligama

• Early morning safari in Bundala National Park (6 AM – 10 AM) to photograph resident, endemic, and migratory birds, along with elephants, deer, and crocodiles.

• Breakfast at the camp.

• Transfer to Weligama (3 hours).

• Dinner and overnight: Weligama Bay Resort.

Day 07 – Blue Whale Boat Safari

• 6:30 AM – 12 PM: Boat trip in the Indian Ocean to photograph Blue Whales.

• Picnic breakfast included on the boat.

• Dinner and overnight: Weligama Bay Resort.

Day 08 – Second Whale Watching Trip & Transfer to Negombo

• Second whale watching boat trip (6:30 AM – 12 PM) with picnic breakfast.

• Transfer to Negombo (3 hours).

• Dinner and overnight: Jetwing Blue Hotel, Negombo.

Day 09 – Departure

• Breakfast at the hotel.

• Transfer to Colombo International Airport (20 minutes).
