Day 01 – Arrival in Colombo

• Arrive at Colombo International Airport and meet our representative at the arrival lounge.

• Transfer to Colombo – approximately 1-hour drive.

• Overnight stay at Lake Colombo.

Day 02 – Colombo → Kandy

• Breakfast at the hotel.

• Transfer to Kandy – approximately 4-hour drive.

• Visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, established to feed, nurse, and house orphaned elephants.

• Visit Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden, located near the Mahaweli River and renowned for its orchid collection.

• Overnight stay at Ellerton in Kandy.

Day 03 – Kandy → Sigiriya → Kandy

• Transfer to Sigiriya – approximately 3-hour drive.

• Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former royal palace of King Kassapa.

• En route, visit Dambulla Cave Temple, another UNESCO World Heritage Site dating back to the 3rd and 2nd centuries BC.

• Overnight stay at Ellerton in Kandy.

Day 04 – Kandy → Hatton

• Transfer to Hatton – approximately 3-hour drive.

• En route, visit Warleigh Church, built in 1878 by Governor William Scott in traditional British architectural style.

• Lunch at the hotel.

• Enjoy freshly brewed home-grown tea in the afternoon.

Day 05 – Tea Country Experience

• Breakfast at the hotel.

• Lunch at the hotel.

• Take a Tea Estate Walk through the scenic valleys of Dickoya. Learn about tea production, observe estate life, and enjoy photo opportunities among tea plantations and mountains.

• Enjoy freshly brewed home-grown tea.

• Dinner and overnight stay at Governor’s Mansion in Hatton.

Day 06 – Hatton → Yala

• Breakfast at the hotel.

• Transfer to Yala – approximately 5½-hour drive.

• Meet our crew at Yala Junction at 12 noon and transfer to the Yala Safari Camp.

• Lunch at the camp.

• Evening Game Drive in Yala National Park.

• Dinner and overnight stay at the Camp.

Day 07 – Yala National Park

• Early morning Game Drive followed by breakfast at the camp.

• Leisure time at the camp.

• Evening Game Drive.

• BBQ Dinner and overnight stay at the Camp.

Day 08 – Yala → Thalpe

• Early morning Game Drive.

• Breakfast at the camp and check out.

• Transfer to Thalpe – approximately 4-hour drive.

Day 09 – Galle & Thalpe Beach
